Donna Ballard Goodwin Allen

Donna Ballard Goodwin Allen, 52 of Hortense, passed away Monday (January 11, 2016) at Memorial Health University in Savannah following an extended illness.

Born in Jacksonville, Fl. Her parents are the late George Ellis Ballard and Linda Ballard Sapp, of Nahunta.

Donna was a homemaker, who loved life and her family. She was also a member of Satilla Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Allen, of Hortense; her daughter, Cassi Lynn Goodwin, of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Domnick Pittman, Melinda Dale, and Layla Dale; her mother and stepfather, Linda Ballard Sapp (Darrell), of Nahunta; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Ballard (Kelly), of Nahunta, and Warren Ballard (Nancy), of Jacksonville. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening (January 14, 2016) from 6PM-7PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday evening (January 14, 2016) at 7PM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Loren Bryant officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
