Donna Faye Causey

Nahunta – Donna Faye Causey, 72, of Nahunta passed away Sunday evening (August 30, 2020) at the Southeast Georgia Health Center in Brunswick, GA after an extended illness.

Born in Jesup, GA her parents were W L Bohannon and Julia Belle Stokes Bohannon. She is also proceeded in death by her husband of 51 years John Causey.

Donna was a committed wife, a loving mama and the perfect granny that loved her family with her whole heart. She attended The Foundation Church of Nahunta.

Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Colin Causey (Tanya) and Carroll Causey both of Hickox, a granddaughter; Leah Carroll (Garrett) of Hickox, 3 great grandchildren; Chloe, Savannah, and Amnie Carroll of Hickox, 2 brothers; Otis Bohannon and Teagle Bohannon both of Hickox, and a sister; Mildred Moody of Hickox. Also, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service on Wednesday (September 2, 2020) at 9:30 AM at the New Hope Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday (September 2, 2020) at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery with Pastor Ashton Ham officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
