Hortense- Donna Lynne Stinson Taylor, 53, of Hortense died suddenly Wednesday afternoon (December 14, 2011)at her residence. Born in Bath, NY her parents were Able Roland and Marian Elizabeth Travis Stinson. She is also preceded in death by her brother, John Kevin Stinson and a father-in-law, Richard Edward Barlow. Donna and Michael moved to South Georgia in 1981 where she worked at the Brunswick Hospital, Bottle Time Liquor, Harvey's Supermarket and Piggly Wiggly. Also she was a homemaker who loved gardening, decorating cakes, cooking, rock & roll music and helping others. Donna was an amazing women who loved her husband and family very much. Survivors include her husband, Michael Lynn Taylor of Hortense; 2 Sons, Michael Adam Taylor of Waynesville and William Christopher Taylor of Milledgeville; 2 daughters, Carrie Lynne Taylor of Brunswick and Michelle Lynn Taylor of St. Simons Island; a granddaughter, Haley LeighAnne Prior of Hortense; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, William Richard & Kathy Walters of Campbell, NY, Robert Roland & Lisa Stinson of Bradford, NY and Paul Alan Stinson of Bradford, NY; 6 sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Lee Walters of Campbell, NY, Sue Ann Hatch of Beaver Dams, NY, Ellen Elaine & Herb Vanluvanee of Campbell, NY, Deborah Jean Stinson of Penn Yan, NY, Barbara Jean & Rodney Bunkley of Campbell, NY and Janet Marie & David Mendez of Bradford, NY; mother-in-law, Delores Ann Taylor Barlow; 10 brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Bruce & Theresa Taylor, Arnold & Annette Taylor, Jr., Robert & Bonnie Taylor, Barnett & Linda Taylor, Richard & Crystal Taylor, Rodney & Lisa Marie Taylor, John & Michelle Taylor, David & Nicole Taylor, Nancy & Lawton Lastinger and Kimberly Wingo; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon (December 18, 2011) at 4PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Bishop Raymond Willis officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
