Nahunta - Dora Belle Culver Wilson, 82, of Nahunta died Thursday afternoon (February 5, 2015) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born in Bristolville, OH her parents were John "Bill" and Cora Sly Culver. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Nada Jean Lichty; a son, David E. Lichty; a great grandson, Christopher Lichty, II; 3 brothers, Laverne "Ernie" Culver, Arthur "Bud" Culver, and Donald Culver; and 3 sisters, Phyllis Culver Chapla, Edith Culver Hoza, and Lois Culver Huff. Dora was a cashier for Albertson's for many years before retiring and a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church. She loved her family, crocheting, playing Bingo, cooking, watching court TV(Judge Judy), traveling, and playing games on the computer. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda & George Steedley of Nahunta; 4 grandchildren, Stacy Phillips, Nikki Hendrix (Michael) all of Nahunta, David Lichty, II and Christopher Lichty, I, both of Longview, TX; 6 great grandchildren, Coleman Phillips, Joey Hendrix and Maegan Hendrix all of Nahunta, Haley Lichty, Alex Lichty and Chloe Lichty all of Longview, TX; a sister, Alberta "Bert" Thomas of Lake Worth, FL; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
