Doris Mcclure Price

Waverly-Mrs. Doris McClure Price,80,of Waverly, Georgia died early Saturday morning (Oct. 11, 2014) in UF Health of Jacksonville, Florida after an extended illness. Born in Easley, South Carolina she was the daughter of Harvey Dawson and Cloe Renee Massingale McClure. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ricie Andrew Price, a son Ricky Lee Price, a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Slaughter, her brother, Harvey Dawson McClure, Jr. and a step-nephew, Jamie Blaze Daniels. Mrs. Price was a loving Mother and homemaker she attended Bay Harbor Church of God in Brunswick, and she loved doing Crocheting, Christian word puzzles and fishing. Survived by her Son, Robert Andrew Price, of Waverly, 4-Daughters and 3-Sons-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and David Daniels, Julia Faye Price, all of Waverly, Dorothy Lorraine and Freddie Harrison, of Raybon and Rosa Melinda and Clayton Robson, of Townsend, GA., 8-Grandchildren, 13-Great-Grandchildre and several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Graveside services for Mrs. Price will be held Monday morning (Oct. 13, 2014) at 11 A.M. in The Horsestamp Cemetery in Waverly with Rev. Dusty Graham officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Harrison, Dustin Wilson, Derek Menges, Matthew Daniels, Robert Price and Roy "Bubba" Hickox. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
