Waynesville- Doris Mildred O’Quinn Daniels, 84 of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday (September 21, 2021) at Memorial Satilla Health.
Born in Winokur, GA. her parents were Tyler O’Quinn and Maggie Harris O’Quinn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis James Daniels; her siblings and their spouses, Clyde and Mary O’Quinn, Eula Mae and Frank Stephens, J.D. and Lucille O’Quinn, J.W. and Ruth O’Quinn, Beulah and Delbert Harper, Mary Lou and Willie Turner, Lorene and Cecil Turner, Ernestine and Ellis Johns, Dorothy and Colton Daniels, and Buddy O’Quinn; and a brother-in-law, Moncie Johns.
Doris was a homemaker and attended Palmetto Pentecostal Church. She loved working in her rose garden, cooking, and spending time with her grandbabies.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie Daniels (Sharon), of Waynesville; her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene Spradley (Lonnie), also of Waynesville; 5 grandchildren, Aleasha Murray (John), Aaron Daniels (Trish), Andrew Spradley, Owen Spradley, and Liam Spradley; 4 great grandchildren, Madison Daniels, Hannah Daniels, Heather Murray, and Tyler Murray; her sister, Betty Johns, of Winokur; and a sister-in-law, Irma Jean O’Quinn, also of Winokur. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Service will be held Monday (September 27, 2021) at 3PM at Palmetto Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Johns and Rev. Grady Albritton officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service, at the cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask, are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
