Dorothy Ann Kirkdorffer

Dorothy "Dottie" Kirkdorffer, 75, of Springfield, Oregon died Monday (March 7, 2011) at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. Born in Lulaton, GA her parents were Alfred Henley & Maude Griffin Stewart. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Kirkdorffer and 3 sisters, Joyce Miller, Rosa O'Neal and Betty Davis Dottie was a meat wrapper for many years. After she retired she went back to school and became a certified nurses aid at Cascade Manor. She was also of the Baptist faith. Survivors include 4 daughters; Debbie Davis of Houston, TX, Victoria Kane of Walnut, KS, Angela Hall of Eugene, OR and Linda Casey of Palatka ; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; 3 brothers, David Stewart of Nahunta, John Stewart of Woodstock and James "Billy" Stewart of Brunswick; a sister, Florence Wainright of Hickox; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday evening (March 14, 2011) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon (March 15, 2011) at 2PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. James Wainright officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. Pallbearers will be Buster O'Neal, Nathan O'Neal, Colby Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Brandon Stewart, and James Riggins.
