Waynesville-Mrs. Dorothy "Pauline" Morgan Crosby,81,of Waynesville died early Saturday morning (Apr. 27,2013) at The Hospice of The Golden Isle in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Waycross, Georgia she was the daughter of Jefferson and Cora Lee Strickland Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Crosby, Sr. a daughter, Lawana Dubose and a brother J.D. Morgan. Mrs. Crosby was of the Baptist faith, she was retired from King Shrimp where she worked as a Supervisor. After retiring she enjoyed being a homemaker, loved to cook and go fishing. Her garden was her proud and joy. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Crosby,Jr. and Neil, of Waynesville, a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Kermith Howe, of Waynesville, 8-Grandchildren and their spouse, Angie Williamson (Kevin), Charles Howe (Belinda), Kermit "Buddy" Howe, III (Brandi), Matthew Howe, all of Waynesville, Paulette Simpson (Brian),of Atlanta, Lisa Harrison (Samuel),of Thalmann, William Daniel Dubose (Lisa) and Owen James "OJ" Dubose (Jennifer), all of Waynesville, 14-Great-Grandchildren, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday evening (Apr. 28, 2013) starting at 6 P.M. at the funeral home. A funeral service for Mrs. Crosby will be Monday morning (Apr. 29,2013) at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Rev. Ion Johns officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Howe, Buddy Howe, Matthew Howe, Kevin Williamson, O.J. Dubose, Daniel Dubose, Sammy Harrison and Brian Simpson. Interment will follow in The New Hope Cemetery in Hickox. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home of Nahunta, GA. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at fryefh.com.
