Hickox-Mrs. Eva "Aline" Dyal Allen,81, of Hickox died Saturday afternoon in The Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus after a brief illness. Born in Homeland in Charlton County she was the daughter of Roma & Ida Mae Yawn Dyal. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Rev. L.C. Allen, 2-sons,Rev. Larry James Allen and Michael David Allen, 1-grandson, Joseph Michael Davis and 1-great-grandson, Joseph Michael Davis, Jr. 5-sisters, Iva Lee Todd, Inez Taylor, Emima Jean Prescott, Mattie Lee and Effie Cannon, 4-brothers, Bennie Lee Dyal, Claude Douberly, Lewis Dyal and R.L. Dyal. A member of The Young's Island Community Church of God, she enjoyed canning, singing, cooking, eating out with friends and family, and going fishing. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and was a avid homemaker. Survived by 4-children and their spouse, Diane and Jody Griffin, of Nahunta, Charles and Cheryl Allen, of Hoboken, Elizabeth and Lamar Crews, of Nahunta, Dora Lee Allen and Gary Knox, also of Nahunta, 16-Grandchildren, 35-Great-Grandchildren and 1-Great-Great-Grandchild, her best friend, Margie Prescott, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday evening starting at 6 P.M. at the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta. Funeral services will be Tuesday (Sept. 4,2012) at 2 P.M. from The Bachlott Church of God in The Bachlott Community with Rev. Jody Griffin, Rev. Chuck Allen and Rev. Ion Johns officiating. Burial will follow in The Bachlott Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are David White, Ben Wainright, Ausencia Rebollo, Michael Flowers, Jeff Griffin, Carl Griffin, Keith Pickren, Dustin Allen and Chris Allen.
