Earnest “Anthony” Wilson, 55, of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday morning (March 15,2016) at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Savannah, GA his parents are Ernest H. Wilson, of Savannah, GA and Alla Faye Cribbs Davis, of Waynesville. He is preceded in death by his son, Ernest Anthony “Tony” Wilson, Jr.; his granddaughter, Kendra Corbitt; his sister, Nanette Alexandra Sanders.
Earnest worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed horse riding, motorcycles, going to the river & loved his dogs.
Survivors include 3 sons, Kevin Barronton ,of Zebulon, Kurtis Craig Wilson, of Milner, and Brett Wilson, of Milner; 3 Daughters and their spouses, Kandy Batten (Donovan), of Douglas, GA., Renee Bryant (Joey) of Stockbridge, and Angela Nicole Wilson of Waynesville, GA.; 9 Grandchildren, Tristian Campbell, MaHalie Batten, MaKalie Batten, Logan Barronton, Brooke Barronton, Sidney Wilson, Harmony Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, and Eli Wilson; his father, Ernest H. Wilson, of Savannah; his mother and stepfather, Alla Faye and Erien Davis; his brother, J.C. Wilson, of Savannah, GA.; 3 Sisters, Teresa Wilson, of Nichols., Ty Ryals, of Waynesville, GA., and Chris Wilson, of Waynesville, GA. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Friday evening (March 18, 2016) starting at 6 PM at the Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Saturday (March 19, 2016) at 11 AM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dean Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in Little Utah Cemetery, Axson, GA at 1PM.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ryals, Tristian Campbell, Craig Wilson, Brett Wilson, Donovan Batten, and Matthew White.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
