Edgar 'Alan' Johns

Mr. Edgar "Alan" Johns, 51, of Nahunta passed away Friday (July 10,2020) in Waycross after a short illness.

Born in Claxton, Georgia his parents were Edgar James Johns and Sherrell Crews Johns.

Alan attended Community Christian Church in Raybon, he enjoyed working on cars and just tinkering with things. Also enjoyed his fishing time.

Before becoming disabled Alan worked in Land Clearing.

Survived by his son, Mark Johns, of Marysville, GA., 3-daughters, Jeanie Johns, Serena Johns and Sabra Johns, all of Marysville, GA., his brother and sister-in-law, Timmy and Mary Beth Johns, of Schlatterville, GA., a nephew and niece, Matthew Johns and Samantha Johns, also of Schlatterville, several other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held for Alan Johns Thursday (July 16,2020) at 10 A.M. at The Oak Grove Cemetery in Raybon with Rev. Leon Wilson officiating.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the Family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
