Edna 'Irene' Workman

Brunswick- Mrs. Edna Irene Alford Workman,70, of Hortense died late Friday evening in The St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after an extended illness. Born in St. Augustine, Florida she was the daughter of Mary Alford, of Brunswick and the late Wade Alford. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed life and spending time with her Grandchildren and loved to go fishing. In addition to her father she was preceded in death also by her husband, Charles D. Workman, Sr. and a son, Jeffery Buchard. She survived by her 2-sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles D. Workman, Jr. and Diane, of Hortense and Richard Buchard, of Louisville, KY., 2-daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy and Jim Hallman, of Davenport, Iowa and Lorie of Louisville, KY., 6-Grandchildren, 16-Great-Grandchildren, 1-Great-Great-Grandchild, her Mother, Mary Alford, of Brunswick, GA., a Sister and brother-in-law, Daisy and Dan Peek, of Milledgeville, GA., her sister-in-law, Beverly and Brownie Blakeman, of Sarasota, FL., also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
