Eliza Jane Crews

Nahunta- Eliza Jane Moore Crews, 79 Of Nahunta, passed away Saturday morning (June 4, 2016 ) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Born in Nahunta, Ga. Her parents were Allen Moore and Annie Laura Johns Moore. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tommy Crews; her sister, Mary Jane Baker; her great granddaughter, Bryana Crews; and her grandparents, Everett and Carrie Johns.

Mrs. Eliza enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was of the Baptist faith, and had worked many years as a Bus Driver.

Survivors include her husband, Newton Eugene Crews, of Nahunta; 1 son, Randy Scott Crews, of Nahunta; 6 Grandchildren, Christopher Scott Crews, of Anderson, S.C., Tommy Crews Jr., Corpus Christi, TX., Brian Eugene and Vanessa Crews, of Middleburg, FL., and Kevin Crews, also of Middleburg, Fl., Elizabeth Crews, of Sayre, Pa., and Matthew Crews, of Sayre, Pa; 6 great-grandchildren, Eryn Crews, Caleb Crews, Jayda Crews, Blayne Crews, Clayton Crews, and Timmothy Crews. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, (June 6, 2016) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday (June 7, 2016) at 11am at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. E.C. Crews officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bachlott Cemetery, in Hickox, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Brian Crews, James Hall, Rob O’Neal, Johnny Lee, Patrick Wainright, and Travis Lee.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
