Eliza Maggie Daniels Clark

Waverly – Eliza Maggie Daniels Clark, 95, of Waverly passed away Friday afternoon (April 1, 2016) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Born in Waverly, GA her parents were Elias and Ella Brockington Daniels. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Cade Clark, Sr.; a son, James Edward Clark; a sister, Bessie Beatrice Brockington; and a brother, Roger Daniels.

Eliza was a homemaker and a member of Ella Park Baptist Church in Waverly. She also loved her dogs, canning, cooking, and having a vegetable garden.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Cade Clark, Jr. (Jana) of Addison, AL; 4 daughters and a son-in-law, Hazel Whitehead of Woodbine, Frances Miller (Crawford) of Waynesville, Margie Prefontaine of Waverly and Arlene Hatten of Alma; 19 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Monday evening (April 4, 2016) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (April 5, 2016) at 11AM at Ella Park Baptist Church in Waverly, GA. Burial will follow in Horsestamp Cemetery.

Pallbearer will be Michael Prefontaine, Steven Prefontaine, Ernie Hatten, Mark Ray, Ben Hatten, and Chris Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Morris Ray and Ernest Miller.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
