Elizabeth Johns Morgan

Mrs. Elizabeth Johns Morgan,87,of Jacksonville, Florida died early Friday morning (Aug. 20,2010) in Jacksonville at The Southpoint Terrace Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Brantley County, Georgia she was the daughter of Emory and Elizabeth Lee Johns. She was married to the late Woodrow Morgan, and was of the Baptist faith. A beautician for many years before her retirement, and a loving mother. Survivors include 3-daughters, Jeanette Maynard, of Ludowici, Ga., Mary Joyce Provancher, of Charleston, S.C. and Peggy Latrelle Cross, of Jacksonville, Fl., 9-Grandchildren, and many Great-Grandchildren,and several Great-Great-Grandchildren, a sister, Lizzie Hardgrave, of Moultrie, Ga., also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday for 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday (Aug.22,2010) at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA. with Bro. Dewitt Teston officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Hickox, GA. Pallbearers will be Andy Maynard, Ryan Christson, Ricky Calicutt, Jeremy Woodson, Frank Parker, Jr. and Will Woodson Frye Funeral Home of Nahunta< Georgia is in charge of the arrangements .
