Ella Frances Hilton Mishoe

Hortense- Ella Frances Hilton Mishoe, 81, of Hortense died early Tuesday morning (July 24, 2012) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born in Mobile, AL her parents were Jesse Madison and Mittie Alveda Wainwright Hilton, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Mishoe, Sr.; a grandson, Jedfrey Turner and a brother, John Hilton. Frances was a homemaker and a member of King Memorial Baptist Church. She also loved to read, do word find and jigsaw puzzles, needle work and loved her children. Survivors include 8 children and their spouses, Pat & Noah Walker of Hoboken, J.D. & Gail Turner of Nahunta, Linda Harris of Raybon, Hazel & Frank Mercer of Hortense, Williard & Sue Turner of Charlton Co, Alveda Nevitt of Mulberry, FL, Archie Benjamin & Wendy Mishoe, Jr. of Hamlet, NC and Carlos & Gloria Mishoe of Charlton Co.; 21 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Jesse M. Hilton, Jr. of VA and Raford & Ineva Hilton of Racepond;4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther & George Mensinger of Little Rock AK, Juanita & Edward Hurst of Waycross, Helen & Troy Stewart of Leon, OK and Alice & Lawrence Murray of Folkston; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (July 26, 2012) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Friday morning (July 27, 2012) at 11AM at King Memorial Baptist Church with Rev.Bob Richardson, Rev. Edward Hurst and Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Harris, Ray Prescott, Adam Prescott, Jess Turner, Wesley Crews and Kenneth Turner. Honorary pallbearer will be Kayla Carter.
