Ella Nicole Knight

Twin Rivers Community – Miss Ella Nicole Knight, 15, of the Twin Rivers Community passed away with her Nannie Mac Sunday evening (June 18, 2023) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ella was born in Brunswick, GA to Trent Ryan Knight and Jennifer Nicole Copeland Knight. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Debra “Nannie Mac” McCarthy; maternal grandfather, William Earl “Papa PeeWee” Copeland; and maternal great grandmother, Betty Jo Thompson.

Ella was an eighth-grade student at Brantley County Middle School and was excited about heading to Brantley County High School. She was an outgoing young lady who loved hanging with her cousins who were like her sisters, spending time with her family and friends and sizing up with her brother, Bryston. Ella loved being outdoors riding in her black truck, boats, 4-wheelers, buggies, hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed go cart races, going to concerts and vacations. Ella also loved watching TicToks, fixing up, doing hair and makeup and eating pickles especially by the pool.

Survivors include her parents, Trent & Jennifer Knight of Twin Rivers Community; her brother, Bryston Knight (Alex) of Twin Rivers Community; maternal grandmother, Nannie Debbie Copeland of Waynesville; paternal grandparents, Larry “Poppie” & Joy “MeMe” Knight of Hortense; her aunt, Sheena Knight (Mike) of Hortense; 2 uncles, Justin Copeland (Shann) of Hoboken and Anthony Manibusan (Amy) of Hortense; 2 cousins that were like her sisters, Briley Manibusan and Bricee Manibusan (Hunter) all of Hortense; cousins, Gage Copeland, Cassie Pollard, Kelly Ann Pollard and Bailey Pollard; her special person, Carter Crews of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday morning (June 23, 2023) starting at 10am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Friday morning (June 23, 2023) at 11am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bro. David Herrin officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Rivers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryston Knight, Hunter Anderson, Anthony Manibusan, Eric Causey, Justin Copeland, Warren Moody, and Gage Copeland.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
