Nahunta- Elma Lee Keen King, 93, of Nahunta died Tuesday night (July 10, 2012) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Hoboken, GA her parents were George Phillip and Maude Hanchey Keen. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lockford "C.L." King; 2 sons, Lamar King and Carvella King; a daughter, Velma Lee King Warren; a grandson, Devin Hiller; and also several brothers and sisters . Elma was a homemaker and attended the Nahunta Church of God. Also she was a member of the Senior Citizens Group of Nahunta and enjoyed farming. Survivors include 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Lea King Badyna (Bud) of St. Simons, Lauren King Bolin (Jason) of Jacksonville, FL, Aaron Warren of Nahunta, Cindy Warren Clark (Robbie) of Waynesville and Charlie Warren of Augusta; 5 Great Grandchildren, Aden & Azlen Bolin, Kayleigh Eichfield and Robbie & Madison Clark;2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Eulaine Robbins (Ross) fo NY and Ladette Dees (Lonnie) Jacksonville, FL; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (July 12, 2012) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home of Nahunta. A graveside service will be held Friday morning (July 13, 2012) at 10AM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brantley County Basketball team in honor of Elma King. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
