Nahunta-Mr. Elzie Foster Ribron,66,of Nahunta died early Monday morning (Sept. 1, 2014 ) at his residence with his family by his side. Born in Woodbine, Georgia he was the son of Rufus Foster and Dorothy Miller Ribron. He worked with Royster Construction as a Mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith and loved working on cars, reading his Bible, fishing, hunting and watching Cowboy Church on Sundays. Preceded by his parents, 2- daughters, Infant Ribron and Vinie Kiziah Ribron, one grandson, Sheldon Rocky "Littleman" Flowers, Jr. Survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Vinie Kiziah Head Ribron, of Nahunta, 2-sons and daughters-in-law, William and Sheila Rousey, of Waynesville, Richard and Amanda Rousey, of Nahunta, a daughter and son-in-law, Elsie and Alton Cribb, also of Nahunta, 5-grandchildren and their spouse, David and Taylor Rousey, Jennifer and Richard Rentz, Cassie Rousey, all of Nahunta, Roxie Flowers, of Hortense, Dalton Cribb, of Waynesville, 2-great-grandchildren, Trenton and Ashton Rentz, of Nahunta, 2-sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorraine and Jack Horne, of Waverly, and Ruth Ocain, of Darien, GA., also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Well loved by many he was called papa by several others also. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening (Sept. 2, 2014) from 6-9 P.M. at the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta. Memorial service for Mr. Elzie F. Ribron will be held Monday (Sept. 8, 2014) at 4 P.M. from The Nahunta Church of God with Rev. Charles Florey, Rev. Iane Sastre and Rev. Jerry Johns officiating.
