Emily Drusilla Head Drury

White Oak- Emily Drusilla Head Drury, 49, of White Oak died suddenly Wednesday (September 4, 2013) at her residence. Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are the late James Franklin Head and Faye Daniels Head of Waverly. Emily worked in the Cafeteria at Camden Co Head Start and attended Horse Stamp Methodist Church. She loved taking pictures, sewing, poetry, arts and crafts. Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip & Ashley Head of Waverly and Kalem & Alicia Head of Woodbine; a daughter, Whitney Head of Kingsland; 3 grandchildren, Abigail Palm, Wyatt Palm and Naomi Palm; her mother, Faye Head of Waverly; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Wetzel & Patricia Head of Waynesville, Emmett & Tammy Head and Chad & Sheila Head all of Waverly; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy & Bill Brant of Woodbine and Melissa & Calvin Blount of Waverly; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening (September 8, 2013) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta . A funeral service will be held Monday morning (September 9, 2013) at 11AM at the Way of the Cross Church with Rev. Joey Chancey and Rev. Doug Goode officiating. Burial will follow in Horse Stamp Cemetery in Waverly. Pallbearers will be Kathy Brant, Edward Carter, John Keene, Billy Bumgarner, Martin Drury, Chris Tyler, Paul Drury and Jonathan Drury. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bernice Aspenwall, Roy Drury, Bill Cantrell and Bobby Thomas. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
