Nahunta-Emma Smith Armantrout, 88 of Nahunta, passed away Monday (April 2, 2018) at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Franklin, IN., her parents were Dale Smith and Reva McClain Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Adriel Armantrout.
Emma worked many years for AT&T as a chief phone operator. She attended St. Mary’s Church of God of Prophecy, and enjoyed shopping, baking, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Adriel James “Jim” Armantrout, II, and David Jon Armantrout; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Armantrout, Adriel Armantrout, III, David Jon Armantrout II, Christina Haynes, and Reva Miller; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way, Hudson Haynes, River Haynes, Carter Armantrout, Olivia Miller, Greyson Miller, and David Jon Armantrout, III.
No services will be held at this time.
