Eric Randy Johns

Eric Randy Johns, 26, of Hickox Community died suddenly early Saturday morning (February 28, 2009) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Brunswick, GA his parent are Randy Willie and Brenda Elaine Maddox Johns. He is preceded in death by an aunt, Shirley Johns Morris and three grandfathers; Winton Johns, Troy A. Maddox and David Knox, Jr. He worked with Asplundh as a trimmer and love to fish. He was a member of Hickox Baptist Church. Eric is survived by his wife, Jessica Thomas Johns; a daughter, Jacey Johns and a little one on the way; his parents, Randy and Brenda Johns; a brother, Will Johns all of Nahunta,(Tabytha Blalock of Folkston); Maternal Grandmother, Gertude M. Knox of St. George, FL; Paternal Grandmother, Kathleen D. Johns of Nahunta; Mother-in-law, Lisa and Steve Keating; Brother -in-law, Reed Wilson; Grandparents, Rev. Leon and Geneva Wilson and Jessie and Frances Thomas of Nahunta; Aunts and Uncles, Gail Jacobs, Lannis and LaDonna Maddox, Sabrina Jourdan, all Nahunta; Dale and Steve Canaday of St. George, FL; also, several other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday evening starting at 6 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home (formerly Chambless-Frye), Nahunta. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Wilson and Robert Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Hickox. Pallbearers will be Shawn Wainright, Damon Smith, Daniel Thomas, Keith Bishop, Jeffrey Wilson, Jessie Wainright, Jeremy Brooker and Joey Gamble. Honorary pallbearers Terry Wainright, James Dinkins, Jamie Carter, William Johns, Travis Hutcheson, Gary Wainright and Derwin Brooker.
