Nahunta – Erin Marie Dykes Williams, 31, of Nahunta passed away Sunday morning (September 26, 2021) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after a brief illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA her parents are Ronald Coleman Dykes and Sybil Marie Thomas Dykes of Nahunta. She is preceded in death by a special uncle, Richard Emory Dykes.
Erin was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her boys and sharing her testimonies and scriptures on Facebook.
Survivors include her husband, Cody Williams of Nahunta; her 2 boys, Brody Aksel Williams and Ayden Cecil Williams both of Nahunta; her parents, Ronald & Sybil Dykes of Nahunta; her brother and sister-in-law, Coleman & Kenzley Dykes of Nahunta; her maternal grandparents, Forrest & Margaret Thomas of Nahunta; niece and nephews, Ryder Dykes, Cash Dykes and Colee Jane Dykes all of Nahunta; her aunts and uncles, Laura & David Giles of Milledgeville, Celia & David Horne of Nahunta and Marcie & Dale Lee of Waycross; and also several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
A service will be held Thursday morning (September 30, 2021) at 11am at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Cochran and Sister Sissy Baxley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10am at Southside Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Horne, Grant Giles, Zachary Horne, Gage Horne, Dale Lee and David Horne.
Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask, are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
