Esther Margaret O'Quinn

Esther Margaret O'Quinn, 85 of Nahunta, GA died early Friday morning at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Born in Darmar, KS, her parents were Patrick & Aldia Thyfault Knipp. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. O'Quinn, a daughter, Barbara Williams and a sister, Pauline Exthom. She had worked as a waitress before retiring. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Stockton, KS and was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Thrift and a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and JoAnne O'Quinn of Hickox; 2 Grandchildren, Matthew Williams (Theresa) of Lake Charles, LA and Dustin O'Quinn of Atlanta, GA; Son-n-law, Ronnie Williams; Great Grandchild, Brooklynn Williams of Lake Charles, LA; 2 Brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett and Phyllis Knipp of Baker, Montana and Vincent and Vicky Knipp of Denver, CO; a Sister, Jonnana Schott of Phoenix, AZ. Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive visitors this weekend at her daughter's, Julie Thrift, residence at 145 Julia Lavelle LN in the Hickox community.
