Evelyn Renee Drawdy

Waycross – Evelyn “Renee” Breland Drawdy, 67, of Waycross passed away Friday morning (August 23, 2024) at her residence after a short illness.

Born in Atlanta, GA her parents are Darcile Jones Breland and the late Clyde Breland. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Drawdy; infant sister, Susan Breland; and an infant brother, David Breland.

Renee was a CNA for Coastal Home Health, who was just a happy, jolly and outgoing person. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a sun loving beach goer.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Rentz (Cody) of Waycross; 8 grandchildren, Ashley Johnson (Kenneth), Rhett Moore (Madison), Willow Rentz, Gatlin Rentz, Xander Rentz, Emma Rentz, Jackson Rentz and Fayth Rentz; 3 great grandchildren, Lillian Perkins, Delilah Perkins and Locklyn Johnson; her mother, Darcile Jones Breland; a special friends who was like a daughter, Olivia Davis; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon, (August 29, 2024) at 4pm at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Chaplain Pat McCord officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to Karon Hickox with Hospice of the Golden Isles for providing relentless love, compassion and care.
