Mr. Everett Albertus Hite, Jr., 67, of Hortense died Wednesday afternoon (September 30, 2009) at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Warsaw, Indiana his parents are the late Everett Albertus and Frances Kloenne Hite, Sr. He served in the Navy and drove cross country as a truck driver. He also loved fly fishing and was well known for fly tying. He is survived by three children and their spouses, Robert Everett & Darlene Hite of Atkinson, John Harold & Kim Hite of Hortense and Richard Wade & Mona Hite, Sr. of Atkinson; 6 grandchildren, Linda Hite of Indiana, Remington, Satilla and River Hite, Richard Wade Hite, Jr. and Aaron Jerome Hite all of Atkinson; two great grandchildren, Macy Hite of Indiana and Marlin Wade Hite of Jesup; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny & Donna Hite of Indiana; a sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia & Dean Holloway of Indiana; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday night (October 2, 2009) starting a 6Pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Graveside services will be held Saturday afternoon (October 3, 2009) at Bethlehem Cemetery in Hickox with Rev. Ion Johns officiating.
