Nahunta-Everett Hartman, Jr., 65, of Nahunta, passed away Friday night (October 30, 2020) at Southeast Georgia Health Brunswick Campus, after an extended illness.
Born in Madison, West Virginia, his parents were Everett Clayton and Edith Louise Roe Hartman.
Mr. Everett was retired from Peabody Coal in West Virginia as a roof bolter. He was an avid outdoorsman and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ella Mae Price Hartman of Nahunta; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Everett Allen Hartman (Billie) of Hortense; and Jeremy Hartman (Jecery) of Nahunta, 3 grandchildren, Aiden Hartman, Amarah Hartman, and Ryan Geiger, several brothers and sisters. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their visits and expressions of love and kindness during Mr. Everett’s sickness. And a special thanks to Dr. Moran.
There will be no services held at this time. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
