Frances 'Louise' Wilson Meeks

Hoboken-Mrs. Frances " Louise" Wilson Meeks,42, of Hoboken died late Friday evening (Aug. 28, 2015) in The Hospice Satilla House in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Blackshear, GA. her parents are Jerry Wilson of Blackshear, and Huba Clare Tanner Griffin of Hoboken. She is preceded by her step-father, Malcolm Griffin and 1 brother, Jerry Gregory Wilson. Louise worked as a CNA Home Nurse before her illness and was of the Christian faith. She loved flowers, animals, yard sales, and going to the Big Z. Survivors include her husband Donnie Meeks, of Hoboken, 1 Daughter, Emma Huba Mae Meeks, of Hoboken. Her father and step-mother, Jerry and Krissy Wilson, of Blackshear. Her mother Huba Clare Tanner Griffin, of Hoboken. 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeanette Romona Sumler, of Waycross, Jerri Ann & Jerry Martin, of Blackshear. 3 Nephews, Thomas Sumler, Joe Sumler, and Jacob Martin, and 1 Niece, Becky Sumler. Also several other friends and relatives. There will be a memorial service Wednesday (September 2, 2015) at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Hoboken at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Tommy James officiating. Visitation will be 2 hrs. prior to service at the church starting at 10:00 A.M. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
