Gaiel H. Eagle

Gaiel Ellen Hurrell Eagle, 73, of Nahunta passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at her residence after a short illness. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Gaiel Hurrell and Claudia Schofield Olah. Mrs. Eagle lived in Oviedo, FL for many years where she was the Broker and Owner of Eagle’s Helping Hands and has been a resident of Nahunta for the last three and half years. She was a member of Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church and always enjoyed helping those in need.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Eagle; one brother, Kenneth Hurrell.

Survivors include one son, Chad Ankrom of Nahunta; one brother, Carl Hurrell (Leona) of Vero Beach, FL; two sisters, Lois Hendrix (Mike) of Nahunta and Cathy Hurrell Moody; two sisters-in-law, Moe (Charlie) and Marilyn; one adopted son, Les Coleman (Shurnice) of Las Vegas, NV; many special nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, at 6 pm at Waynesville Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Mike Hendrix officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5 pm at the church.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
