Gary Eldon Crews, Jr.

Hoboken – Gary Eldon Crews, Jr., 51, of Hoboken passed away Wednesday (February 26, 2025) at Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness.

Born in Blackshear, GA his parents are Gary Eldon “Eddie” Crews, Sr. of Hoboken and the late Shirley Griffin Crews.

Gary was a boilermaker for Local # 26 and attended Swamp Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding around.

Survivors include a son, Zachary Crews of Hoboken; a daughter and son-in-law, Makayla Lynn (Douglas) of Nahunta; a grandchild, Chris Lynn of Nahunta; his father, Eddie Crews of Hoboken; a sister, Suzanne Rittenhouse of Waycross; a brother and sister-in-law, Caleb Morgan (Amanda) of Hoboken; a special niece, Sarah Wright (Taylor); 2 special great nieces, Gracelyn Wright and Adalynn Wright; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday (March 1, 2025) starting at 2pm at Hoboken Cemetery.

A graveside service will be held Saturday (March 1, 2025) at 3pm at Hoboken Cemetery with Rev. Joey Chancey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Satilla House, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.
