Geraldine 'Gerry' Barnard Hendricks

Hortense-Mrs. Geraldine “Gerry” Barnard Hendricks,66, of Hortense died Thursday afternoon (Nov. 17, 2016) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Brunswick, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Norwood Barnard and Coralee King Barnard Purvis, of Brunswick. She was preceded in death by her Father, her husband, Samuel “Tommy” Thomas Hendricks, Jr., a daughter, Sonya Hendricks Thomas and a sister, Gail Johnson.

Mrs. Gerry was of the Baptist faith. She loved antique’s, reading and collecting jewelry. And spending time with her family.

Survived by her mother, Coralee Barnard Purvis, of Brunswick, GA., her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Amy Hendricks, of Waynesville, 5-grandchildren, Don Hendricks, Colby Hendricks, Hannah Hendricks, Sierra Herrin and Josh Thomas, 3-greatgrandchildren, Bentley Hendricks, Haley Hall and Nicholas Domingez, her sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Bill Kindle, of New Jersey, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Way of The Cross Church in Brookman at a later date with Rev. Phillip Kidd officiating.
