Glenda Faye Rowell Lee

Glenda Faye Rowell Lee, 67 or Trudie, passed away at her residence early Monday morning (December 31, 2012) after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Blackshear, GA., her parents were the late Tollie William and Sarah Jane Davis Rowell. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, J.W. and Doyle Rowell, 1 Sister, Karris York. Glenda loved clogging, crocheting, traveling, and fishing and was a member of Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed with Obediahs Gift Shop as a manager before retiring. Survivors include her husband of 49 yrs., Hayden F. Lee of Trudie, 3 Sons and a spouse, Hayden F. Lee, Jr. of Blackshear, Daniel S. and Kimberly A. Lee of Atkinson, and Edward Davis of Blackshear. 2 Daughters and a spouse, Cindy and Eddie Taylor of Blackshear, and Melissa Davis also of Blackshear. 10 Grandchildren, Marc Aldridge and his wife Beth of Blackshear, Luccas Aldridge and his wife Julie also of Blackshear, Sam Aldridge of Blackshear, Amanda Mosley and her husband Ken of Offerman, Clifton Brooks, Mara Lee, Hayden F. Lee III, Noah Jesse Lee, Katie Davis, and Kyle Davis. ,3 Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Alyssa Aldridge both of Blackshear, and Gavin Mosley of Offerman. 4 Brothers and their spouses, Alvin and Louise Rowell of Blackshear, Vestus R. Rowell of Omaha, Nebraska, E.C. and Kathy Rowell of Surrency, and Ronnie and Betty Rowell of Albany. 1 Sister, Winna Lee Miller of Trudie. Also severa l nieces. Nephews , and other relatives. Visitation will be held Wednesday (January 2, 2013) from 6-8 PM at Frye Funeral Home , Nahunta. Graveside services will be held Thursday (January 3, 2013) at 2 P.M. from The Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rowell officiating. Pallbearers will be Marc, Luccas, and Sam Aldridge, Edward Davis, Clifton Brooks, Tony Rowell, and Michael Johns. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home Nahunta.
