Hoboken - Glenn Henry Hartman, Jr, 81, of Hoboken died Friday evening (February 27, 2015) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born in Scott, GA his parents were the late Glenn Henry, Sr. and Mattie Mae Cooper Hartman. Glenn worked 34years with Turner Electric as a motor winder and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 64years, Virginia Maxine Baker Hartman of Hoboken; a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn H. Hartman, III(Theresa) of Hoboken; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda O'Berry of Hoboken, Glenda Farris(Bill) of Nahunta, Linda Carter(Brad) of Hoboken and Cindy Ward (Mike) of St. Augustine, FL; 13 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; and also several other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday evening (March 1, 2015) from 6-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Monday morning (March 2, 2015) at 11am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Marden officiating. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Hartman, III, Donnie O'Berry, Bill Farris, Wayne O'Berry, Ronnie Hickox and Josh Bennett. The family will be meeting at the home of Glenn & Theresa Hartman, III, 471 Outback Loop, Hoboken, GA 31542. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
