Hoboken-Haley Lynette Griffin, 19 of Hoboken, died Saturday (March 17, 2012) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Waycross, Ga. Her parents are James Griffin, of Blackshear and Pam Lynette Moore Johns, of Hoboken. She is preceded by her paternal grandfather, John Elvin Griffin, and her maternal grandmother, Maxine Moore. Haley was of the Baptist Faith. She was the first girl to play football in Brantley County. Haley loved the river and loved making people smile. She is survived by her father and stepmother, James and Sherrie Griffin, of Blackshear; her mother and stepfather, Pam and Charles Johns, of Hoboken; a twin brother, Chase Elvin Griffin and a brother, Anthony Charles Moore, both of Hoboken; two sisters, Kelley Madras Griffin, and Joani Griffin, both of Hoboken; maternal grandfather is Charles Moore; Paternal grandmother is Mary Evelyn Dowling. Also many aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (March 22, 2012) starting at 6PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Friday morning (March 23, 2012) at 11AM at Frye Funeral Home Chapel with Arthur Joiner and Beth Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoboken City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brittany Housier, Dusty Thrift, Rachel Scott, Becky Chesser, Jessica Dye, Erin Dykes, and Denise Reeves. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
