Harry L. Pearson

Hortense- Harry L. Pearson, 80 of Hortense, passed away Monday (September 16, 2013) at his residence. Born on August 2, 1933 in Brantley County, to Nathaniel Osborn and Nora Lee Campbell Pearson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Florence Lane Pearson; his sister, Louise O'Berry; 2 brothers, Clifford Pearson, and Hubert Pearson. Harry retired from Hercules Incorporated. He served in the United States Navy, and was an avid fisherman, he loved the outdoors and farming. Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Diann Clark (Rick), of Brunswick, Elaine Mosley (Dennis), of Hortense; 4 grandchildren, Olivia Clark, James Clark, Lawton Mosley, and Zachary Mosley; 2 sisters, Shirley Crews, of Folkston, and Sandra Causey, of Hortense. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Visitation will be held Thursday (September 19, 2013) from 6 PM-8 PM, at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Graveside Service will be held Friday (September 20, 2013) at 11 AM, at Lane Cemetery with Rev. R.C. Mathis officiating. Pallbearers will be James Clark, Lawton Mosley, Zachary Mosley, Joe Lane, Robbi King, Reggie O'Berry, and Brandon McBride. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
