Hazel Knight Anderson

Hazel "Granny" Lee Knight Anderson, 72 of Waynesville, GA died early Wednesday morning (Dec. 2, 2009) at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick. Born in Brantley Co, GA, her parents were Emory L. Knight and Alma Rooks Knight. She is preceded in death by her sister, Laverne Hall. She was a homemaker who loved to fish and was a friend to all. And was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmie G. Anderson, Sr. of Waynesville; 2 Daughters and son-in-law, Diane and Mikey Cross of Sterling and Vicky Anderson of Waynesville; a Son, Jimmy G. Anderson, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; 7 Grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Stacy Clemons, Sandi Nelms, Jessica Criss, Samantha Anderson, Jimmie Lee Anderson and Allen Turner; 11 Great Grandchildren; a Sister and bother-in-law, Barbara K. and James Robert Barnes of Vidalia; 3 Brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Diane Knight of Waynesville, Charles Knight of Blythe Island and Donnie and Joyce Knight of Lyons; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (December 3, 2009) starting at 6 pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon (December 4, 2009) at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Hinton Johnson officiating.
