Helen Marie Jacobs Wainright

Nahunta- Helen Marie Jacobs Wainright, 63, of Nahunta died suddenly Tuesday morning (March 8, 2011) at her residence. Born in Jesup, GA her parents are the late Joseph Lindsey Jacobs and Laverne Swearingen Jacobs of Nahunta. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jacobs Wilson. Helen was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith. Also Helen was baptized at Nahunta Church of God. She also was a great cook, loved being at the beach and gardening. Survivors include a daughter, Rita Wainright of Raleigh, NC; 2 sons, Shay Wainright and Dezi Wainright both of Nahunta; her mother Laverne Jacobs of Nahunta; 2 brothers, Ronnie Jacobs and J.L. Jacobs both of Nahunta; 2 sisters, Phyllis May and Wanda Smith both on Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (March 11, 2011) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (March 12, 2011) at 11AM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Carson, Rev. Bruce Dean, Bishop Hugh Arnold and Bro. Charles Wainright officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross. Pallbearers will be Phillip Prescott, Heath Wainright, Corey Wainright,Jake Wainright, Jed Wainright, Devant Wainright and Robert Wilson. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
