Nahunta - Helen Marie Jones Scott, 82, of Nahunta died Thursday evening (August 27, 2015) at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta after an extended illness. Born in Fairmont, WV her parents were Harvey and Ruth Jones. Helen was of the Christian faith. She loved playing bingo, fishing, walking and her family. Survivors 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal & Jim Humphrey of Maryland, Holly Scott (Jess) of Nahunta, and Candi & Paul Rhoden; 6 grandchildren, Andy Godfrey, Megan Rhoden, Robbie Rhoden, Heather Humphrey, Wade Humphrey, and Lindsay Humphrey; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Harvey & Marge Jones of VA, and Eddie Jones of Nahunta; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet & Damon Evans and Kathy & Ted Jackson all of VA; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will have a memorial service at a later date at Mrs. Helen's residence. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
