Henry 'Butch' Frank Price, Jr.

Waycross- Henry "Butch" Frank Price, Jr., 70, of Waycross died Tuesday morning (January 7, 2014) at his residence after an extended illness. Born in Philadelphia, PA his parents were Henry Frank and Margret Eveland Price. He is also preceded in death by a Stepson, James Steven Ree, II and a grandson, Aiden Kain Pattillo. Butch was an animal control officer for Livingston Texas Police Department for 18 years before moving to Waycross and served in the United States Navy. He also attended Waycross Community Baptist Church and was a member of American Legion Post #460 in Houston, TX. Butch also loved working with any Veteran Programs and loved animals and helping them find homes. He is survived by his wife, Dena "Raquel" Scott Price of Waycross; 3 Step Sons and a daughter-in-law, Sammy & Heavenly Pattillo of Livingston, TX, Wesley Lee Pattillo and James Steven Ree both of Waycross; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David & Alice Price and George & Pat Buchler all of Huntsville, TX; a sister, Joan Suehs of Philadelphia, PA; a niece, Christine Nichols; a nephew, Justin Nichols; a great niece, Kylie Bridges; and also several other relatives. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon (January 18, 2014) at 2PM at Waycross Community Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Weathersby officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
