Henry Lester Barnard

Thomasville, GA.- Mr. Henry Lester Barnard,79,of Thomasville, Georgia died early Saturday afternoon (Jun 21,2014) at The Waycross Health and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. Born in Waycross, Georgia he was the son of Joseph Arlington and Delila Anderson Barnard. Mr. Barnard had worked for The State of Georgia as a laborer before his retirement, he loved playing the Harmonica and was a member of Little Phoebe Primitive Baptist Church in Folkston. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Lottie Melton Barnard, 3-Brothers, Jake, Foster and Ralph Barnard, one Sister, Margaret Parker. He is survived by a Daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Roy Bellisle, of Kingsland, Georgia, also several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, 1-Brother, Fred Barnard, of Folkston, Georgia, a Sister and Brother-in-law, Sue and David Hickox, of Hickox, Georgia, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday evening at The Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, Georgia. Funeral services for Mr. Henry L. Barnard will be Wednesday morning (Jun. 25,2014) at 10:30 A.M. from The Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Elder Terry Barnard officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday at 2 P.M. (Jun. 25,2014) in The Little Phoebe Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Folkston, Georgia. Pallbearers will be his Nephews.
