Hubert Grimsley

Nahunta-Hubert Grimsley, 86 of Nahunta, passed away Thursday (March 21, 2013) at The Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Fairmont, NC his parents were Sanford and Gertrude Wilkerson Grimsley. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane Amos Grimsley; and several brothers and sisters. Hubert was a salesman, he was known as "The Peanut Man". Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Pamela & Wayne Mathews of Jacksonville; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Aline & Charles Highsmith of Nahunta and Doris Gann of Stark, FL; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Saturday (March 23, 2013) from 1-2PM a New Hope Cemetery. A graveside service will be held Saturday (March 23, 2013) at 2PM at New Hope Cemetery with Rev.Bruce Dean and Rev.
