Infant James William Highsmith

Bonaire – Infant James William Highsmith, 5 days old, passed away early Saturday morning (June 10, 2023) from a sudden illness at Houston Healthcare.

Born in Macon, GA his parents are Jordan Cecil Highsmith and Amy Clark Highsmith of Bonaire.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Winston  Cecil & Patricia Ann Vaughn Highsmith and James Elijah “Jimmy” Thomas; maternal great grandparents, Hale & Rosemary Tyson Clark and Henry Grady & Margie Jean Carter; and an aunt, Carrie Liana Highsmith.

Survivors include his parents, Jordan & Amy Highsmith of Bonaire, GA; paternal grandparents, Simeon Win & Cara Thomas Highsmith of Warner Robins, GA; maternal grandparents, William Dean & Susan Carter Clark of Woodstock, GA; paternal aunts, Ciara Lyndsay Highsmith and Chelsea Leigh Highsmith of Warner Robins, GA; maternal aunt and uncle, Nate & Marissa Clark Bohn of Smyrna, GA; maternal cousins, Emily Grace Bohn and Layla Faith Bohn of Smyrna, GA; paternal great grandmother, Carolyn Thomas Crews of Nahunta; and also several other relatives.

A private graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Ernie Thomas officiating.
