Ismail Osiris Thoth

Waynesville- Ismail Osiris Thoth, 76 of Waynesville, passed away Thursday (June 29, 2023) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Clarksville, TX., his parents were the late Banks and Lola Barnes. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vernadette Barnes; a brother, James Barnes; and a sister, Essie Barnes.

Ismail worked many years as a Draftsman and CADD Operator for the City of St. Louis. He enjoyed fishing and was always looking to learn new things. He also loved his family, his community and taking care of others.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Walker (Candace), of TX; daughter, Candace Thoth, of HI; a grand daughter and her spouse, Kortnee Turpin (Ethan), of OK.; three great grandchildren, Cana, Judah, and Ira Turpin, also of OK; sisters, Ann Newberry, Rosie Powell, Alice Barnes, and Joyce Morris all of St. Louis. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.
