James 'Dwayne' Griner

Winokur- James “Dwayne” Griner, 52 of Winokur, passed away Sunday (June 16, 2019) at his residence.

Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents are James Edward Griner, of Winokur, and the late Carolyn Holly Griner.

Mr. Dwayne always looked forward to Christmas time and loved bringing Christmas to Winokur with “The Griner Lights” at his home in Winokur. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking, and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his loving wife, Rose Rogers Griner, of Winokur; his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Cribb (Aaron), of Folkston; 3 grandchildren, Jordan Anderson, Katie Cribb, and Gracie Cribb; and his father, James Edward Griner, of Winokur. Also several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday (June 22, 2019) from 1:30PM-2PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday (June 22, 2019) at 2PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Brown officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
