James 'Jimmy' Henry Howard, Jr.

Nahunta- Mr. James "Jimmy" Henry Howard, Jr., 54, of Nahunta died Wednesday afternoon (April 27, 2011) at his residence after and extended illness. Born in Jacksonville, FL his parents were James Henry and Edna Alvina Miles Howard, Sr. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Christie Howard. Jimmy was a mechanic and loved working on automobiles. Also he attended Hickox Praise and Worship and was a avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife Ann Howard of Nahunta; a son and daughter-in-law, James Hendry "Jim Bo" and Mindy Howard, III of Jesup; 3 daughters, Creasha A. Ramer of Waycross, Jessica R. Howard and Jenna R. Howard both of Nahunta; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Duane Ring; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Ring, Janice H. & Buster O'Neal, Janine H. & David Carroll and Janet H. & Calvin Herrin all of Hickox and Judy H. & Demarus Johns of Bachlott; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (April 29, 2011) starting at 4PM at Hickox Praise and Worship. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (April 30, 2011) at 11AM at Hickox Praise and Worship with Rev. Chuck Allen and Rev. Otis Johns officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Hickox. Pallbearers will be Timmy O'Neal, Mikey Crews, D.J. Johns, Jok Johns, Jimmy Kinsey, Garrett Carroll, Bradley Herrin, J.W. Ring, Donnie O'Berry and Donnie O'Neal. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com
