James Knippers

Nahunta-Mr. James "Jimmy" David Knippers,49, of Nahunta died early Wednesday morning in The Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a brief illness. Born in Jacksonville, Florida he was the son of Major and Shirley Queen Knippers. Jimmy was a self employed painter and attended The Nahunta Church of God. He loved landscaping, fishing and going camping. Proceeded in death by his brother Allen Knippers. He is survived by his parents, Major and Shirley Queen Knippers, of Nahunta, a special companion, Pam Bullard, of Nahunta, 2-aunts and uncles, Peggy and Robert Jones, of Fernandina Beach, Fl., Dorothy and Caroll Cox, of Brunswick, GA. Also several other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Friday (Aug. 31, 2012) from 3 P.M. to service time. The funeral service will be at 4 P.M. Friday from the chapel of Frye Funeral Home, in Nahunta with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Memorialzation will be by cremation. Frye Funeral Home of Nahunta, Georgia will be assisting the family.
