James Milton Sapp, Jr.

Waynesville-James "Milton" Sapp, Jr., 64, of Waynesville died suddenly Tuesday (September 20, 2011) at his residence. Born in Waycross, GA, his parents were James Milton Sapp, Sr. and Carrie Mae Smith Sapp. Milton was of the Baptist Faith, and served in the United States Army. He retired from the pulp mill, where he worked for many years. Also he was employed with the Brantley County Athletic Department, and he loved sports, fishing, and spending time with his family. Survivors include 3 children, Jimmy Sapp of Waycross; Terri Sapp of Kennesaw; and Courtney & Donald Parsons of Hoboken; 2 grandchildren, Noah Sapp & Leah Parsons; a brother and sister-in-law, Gene & Brenda Sapp of Blackshear; a sister and brother-in-law, Lonnie & Harold Clark of Waynesville, and 5 grand kitties; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (September 23, 2011) from 6-9 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation. In lieu of flowers donations can be donated to Brantley County Athletic Department. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.fryefh.com.
