Ms. Jamilyn McCall,43, of the Atkinson Community died early Sunday morning in the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. Born in Americus, Georgia on July 27, 1965 to the late James Mack Lander McCall and Elwanda Barber McCall, of the Atkinson Community. A very active member of the Nahunta United Methodist Church she loved singing in the church choir and excelled in the Special Olympics. She attended the Charlton/Brantley Service Center. Jamilyn loved people and they all loved her, she enjoyed "Mickey Mouse " and loved collecting stuffed Disney Characters. Preceded in death by her Father, James Mack Lander McCall, her Maternal-Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Richard Barber, Paternal-Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodie McCall. Survived by her Mother, Elwanda B. McCall, sister, Elvanzeta McCall, also of Atkinson Community, a brother and sister-in-law, Lander and Sarah McCall, of Ellijay, GA., 2-nephews," Little" Lander McCall, of Griffin, GA. and Myles McCall, of Ellijay, GA, also several Aunts, Uncles and other relatives and a host of Friends. Visitation will be held Monday evening starting at 6PM from the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning (June 2, 2009) at 11 AM in the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, in Nahunta with Rev. Frank Mann, Jean Bragg and "Little Lander" officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross, GA. Pallbearers will be Ben and Danny Sheppard, Clifford Lee, Dean, Jamie and Lewis "Poochie" Warner.
