Jason Flowers

Jason McCoy Flowers, 46 of Hortense, passed away Sunday (September 15, 2019) at Southeast Georgia Health System following a brief illness.

Born in Jesup, GA., his parents are Howard Earl Flowers and Charlene Gamble Lewis.

Jason was employed with Ricoh as a Service Tech. He was of the Christian Faith and loved hunting, camping, the river, and boat riding.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Tammy Flowers, of Hortense; his son, Bryson Flowers, of Hortense; father, Howard Flowers, of Thalmann; mother, Charlene Lewis, of Jesup; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Ellis Strickland, of Hortense; father and mother-in-law, G.W. and Ivene Knox, of Nahunta; two nieces, Morgan Strickland, of Hortense, and Taylor and Josh Thornton, of Jesup; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Melanie Knox, of Jesup; and a nephew, Trent Knox, also of Jesup. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (September 17, 2019) starting at 6PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday (September 18, 2019) at 10AM at Salt House Worship Center with Rev. Sammy Spradley officiating.

Burial will follow in Hortense Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Flowers, B.J. Flowers, Travis Flowers, Charlie Flowers, Dewayne Boatright, and Anthony Harper.

Family and pallbearers are asked to meet at the church by 9:30AM Wednesday.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
