Jeanette Morgan

Nahunta – Jeanette Crews Morgan, 88, of Nahunta passed away Saturday morning (December 28, 2024) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Winokur, GA her parents were Randle B. Crews and Janie Walker Crews. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Valdes Morgan, Sr.; a daughter, Angela Morgan; 2 daughters-in-law, Sandra Morgan and Paulette Morgan; a granddaughter, Valerie Morgan; and 2 great great grandchildren, Daxton Lee and Tatum Lee.

Jeanette was a secretary for 16 years for IRA Brown Milling and a member of Nahunta Church of God. She loved spending time with her family, reading her Bible, doing puzzle books and word searches.

Survivors include 3 sons, Tony R. Morgan of Jacksonville, FL, Phillip Bruce Morgan of Boulogne,  FL and Paul Morgan Jr. of Nahunta; 6 grandchildren, Bambi Carter (Adam), Steven Morgan, Vance Morgan, Zach Morgan, Sean Morgan and Bridget Williams (Thomas); 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Wain Crews (Lillie) of Hickox and Billy Crews (Ruth) of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday (December 31, 2024) starting at 10am at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning (December 31, 2024) at 11am at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Florey officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Morgan, Triston Morris, Billy Crews, Jr. Dalton Lee, Zach Morgan, Sean Morgan, and Chance Morgan. Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Morris.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
